We are Turning celebration into impact.

Our strategy

What do we dream about?

SOLA Festival is a new movement in Sri Lanka, started by a group of young international creatives, with the belief that festivals can be a force for good - not just a music festival, but a space for connection, inspiration and consideration. We are not here to take, but to give back — to the people, to the environment and to the country's culture.

Our vision is to show how tourism and creativity can exist in harmony with the local community - to support it, rather than exploit it. We aim to build an experience that connects people across cultures, inspires new ideas, celebrates diversity, and shines a light on the best of Sri Lanka — its art, its communities, and its natural beauty.

Our Mission

To create a sustainable, inclusive, and community-driven festival that brings people together through music, art and shared experiences, while celebrating Sri Lanka — giving more to the local community than it takes.

Our Vision

Within five years, SOLA will stand as Sri Lanka’s leading example of conscious festival culture — a blueprint for how creativity, sustainability, and local empowerment can transform tourism into something truly regenerative.

Core Values

  • Respect – For Sri Lanka’s culture, people, and ecosystems. We listen before we act. Inclusion – A platform for diversity: gender, culture, and voice. Everyone belongs.

  • Sustainability – Environmental care and conscious design at every step.

  • Creativity – Using art, music, and craftsmanship as tools for change and learning.

  • Collaboration – Working hand in hand with local communities to create meaningful experiences that benefit both Sri Lanka and a global audience.
